Common Sports Nutrition Products for Endurance Activity

Agent Eden was founded and developed by adventure sports athletes to provide an ALTERNATIVE to the sports hydration and electrolyte products currently on the market.

To fuel intense sustained activity, people need nourishment, like carbs / sugars, electrolytes, hydration, and protein (especially for recovery).  If you start reading the labels of the current market options (8 examples are listed for you above), you'll quickly learn that they are all essentially the same product - a carb/electrolyte mix made from the same group of processed industrial powders.  Nothing out there on the market, even stuff that is marketed to make us feel like it's "natural" or "plant-based," is made from actual real, whole, unprocessed foods.

People have always been active.  Throughout our history and evolution, we have relied on naturally-powerful food (like honey and barley) to provide the nourishment needed for strenuous, active lives.  These foods are proven, and our bodies have evolved to use them efficiently, in their natural form.

As part of the industrialization of foods (think: TV Dinners) and in search of higher profits, processed ingredients, stripped from their natural core became widely accepted during the 1900s and that legacy still lives strong today.  We can see it is especially prevalent in sports nutrition.  The processed ingredients listed on the products above are not used because they are superior to real, whole foods - they are used because they are easy to work with and cheap to purchase, yielding high profits.  But we know that highly processed foods are a problem and that many of the "truths" about what is healthy or not that came from the 1900s are just wrong.  It's pretty simple in our opinion - when in doubt, trust nature.

At Agent Eden, we provide an alternative to processed industrial products.  Our sports drinks are quality fuel for active people, made from naturally-powerful, real, whole foods, creating a powerful mix of complex and simple sugars, electrolyte endurance minerals, and protein.
